About

My full name is Christopher Scott Hernandez and this is my online journal. I’m 24 years old, and live in Austin, TX with my beautiful girlfriend Josie, a cat, and a dog. I’ve been in and around web design since I was sixteen. I created this site as a way for me to express my views on anything design related, rant a little about daily life, and share any tips and techniques I use in designing web sites.

If you’re interested in hiring me for any web design work please contact me , and include as much information as possible along with an accurate return email address.

If there is anything I forgot to mention here that you are interested in please let me know .

Preferred Reading

As hard as it was, I’ve narrowed the list of blogs that I read regularly to five. Most are design related but some aren’t.

Natalie Jost
An excellent designer and blogger. She blogs about Textpattern and CSS quite a bit, with some very insightful thoughts on life in between.

Cameron Moll
One of the fathers of modern web design, and still one of the best. His ‘Premium Linkage’ is on my Google home page, and his blog is good stuff.

Hicks Design: Journal
Very original, and tons of cool stuff all the time. I’m sure Jon is on top of a lot of people’s lists of great design bloggers.

Verlee’s Blog
One of the nicest blog designs ever, and an excellent read to boot. Be sure to check out her art/illustration work.

One Good Move
My daily dose of liberal propaganda. With clips from the Daily Show, the Colbert Report, and some of the best daily political links anywhere on the web.

Thank You

First and foremost I have to thank my tireless supporter and the love of my life Josie. Without her love, help, and support none of this would be possible. Also, a big thank you to Ike over at Freetxp.com for giving me hosting, and submitting me to the Daily Slurp . Thank you Marcelo Terraza , and Pavel Jedlicka for the excellent photography.
